We will confirm availability and place your dates on hold for 24 hours. If necessary, we might be able to hold your dates for longer while you arrange travel. Just ask!

Step 2: Confirm Your Stay
After we approve your dates, please go ahead and pay your 10% deposit and complete the guest registration form at the link below.

• *Calligraphy, Tea Ceremony, and Kimono have extra cost and suggested minimum donation.
• Deposit is 10% of total stay cost. There are no additional fees or taxes. See the payment chart for exact deposit amounts corresponding to the length of your stay.
• OFF-Site Activities are optional and may involve additional cost.
• Pay the balance in cash once you arrive at the retreat. See the payment chart for exact amounts corresponding to the length of your stay.
• Rates shown are for ONE GUEST, not one room. There is no reduction in cost if you choose to share a room. (Why?)

Paying The Balance
The balance due should be paid directly to the retreat in person at the time of your stay. Please do not pay it in advance. See the chart for exact amounts corresponding to the length of your stay. Common questions regarding our payment policies are also answered here in our FAQ.
Deposits and cancellation policy: Deposits are non-refundable and are officially limited to the dates confirmed at the time of the deposit payment and original booking. Unofficially, however, we are more flexible and will absolutely do our best to make reasonable date changes for you, free of charge, and transfer your deposit payment to alternate dates of stay; provided that the new dates are available, and that you have informed us of your cancellation within a reasonable time so that we are able to book another guest for the canceled dates. We try our best to accommodate necessary changes to your itinerary or modifications to your travel plans, however, we cannot guarantee that your preferred dates, should you request a change, will be available. Deposits are completely non-refundable under any circumstances. Deposits are very transferrable however; to different dates of stay or even to different guests or other retreats we are affiliated with. We try to be as flexible and generous as possible with this, however, once you have created a booking, the deposit payment itself is never refundable.
Rooms are always private in the sense that we never put strangers together in the same room. Although you do have the option to share a room with your travel companion(s) if you choose.
